About the guided tour

The first part of the walk goes through Løvklit featuring the sanded-up oak trees of Kærgård Plantation. At this site, Merete Vigen will tell about the unique landscape created by drifting sands that once affected large sections of Denmark’s west coast. The walk continues to Petersholm Birdwatching Tower on Filsø Lake, where it is possible to see red deer and hear more about the nature restoration of Filsø. We finish the tour at two beautiful architectural gems – the Ellipse Bridge and Filsø Nature Centre – before heading to Henne Kirkeby Kro for a delightful lunch. The walk is about 4 km long. Duration: 2½ hours.
